Return and Refund Policy

General Conditions for Warranty Claims

(a) Warranty claims must be filed within the Warranty Period.
(b) Warranty claims may only be made by: (i) The original end customer (as named in the certificate of guarantee or invoice).
(ii) Any subsequent owner of the PV Modules upon proof of succession or transfer from the original end customer.
(c) When PV Modules are used on a mobile platform (e.g., a vehicle), the Warranty Period is limited to 12 years.
(d) In cases of PV Module replacement, the replaced PV Module becomes the property of End Loadshedding Pty.


Exclusions and Limitations

The Limited Warranty does not apply to any of the following:

(a) PV Modules subjected to:

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect or accident;

  • Alteration, improper installation or removal (including by unauthorized persons);

  • Non-compliance with End Loadshedding Pty instructions or local codes;

  • Repairs or modifications by unauthorized personnel;

  • Conditions exceeding voltage, wind, or snow specifications;

  • Damage due to power surges, lightning, floods, fires, animals, or industrial chemicals;

  • Glass breakage from impact or other uncontrollable events.

(b) Cosmetic wear and tear or minor cosmetic variations that do not reduce power output.
(c) PV Modules installed near direct saltwater exposure.
(d) PV Modules with altered, removed, or illegible product/serial labels.
(e) PV Modules relocated without written approval from End Loadshedding Pty.

End Loadshedding Pty is not liable for delays or non-performance due to uncontrollable events (e.g., war, riots, strikes, floods).


Limitations of Warranty Scope

Subject to applicable law, this Limited Warranty replaces all other warranties, express or implied (including merchantability or fitness for a specific use).

End Loadshedding Pty is not responsible for:

  • Property damage, personal injury, or other losses due to PV Modules;

  • Incidental, consequential, or special damages (e.g., loss of profits, use, or production).

Total liability is limited to the purchase price paid to End Loadshedding Pty.

Some jurisdictions may override these limitations. If a court finds a part of this warranty unenforceable, the rest remains effective.


Obtaining Warranty Performance

To file a claim:

Contact: (a) Your seller/installer;
(b) An End Loadshedding Pty-authorized installer; or
(c) End Loadshedding Pty directly.

Provide:

  • Warranty card, online registration, or invoice;

  • Delivery date proof;

  • Affected module serial and product numbers;

  • Supporting evidence of the issue.

Important: Returns are not accepted without prior written authorization.
Manufacturer warranties apply. End Loadshedding Pty enforces these on your behalf.


Warranty Nullification Conditions

Warranty becomes void if:

  • Product not used per manufacturer’s instructions/specs.

  • Product subjected to damage, misuse, or unauthorized changes.

  • No invoice or proof of purchase is provided.


Handling Fees for Returns

  • 1–7 days: 15% handling fee

  • 8–14 days: 45% handling fee

  • 15–21 days: 55% handling fee
    Note: Installation and labor costs are non-refundable.


Sales Terms, Conditions, and Policies

By placing an order with End Loadshedding Pty, you accept all our sales terms and policies.

Returns and Refunds

  • End Loadshedding Pty is not the manufacturer.

  • All products are third-party and follow their manufacturer’s specifications.

  • End Loadshedding Pty makes no guarantees beyond those.


Installations

Installation Requirements:

  • Electrical products must be installed by certified professionals.

  • Buyer ensures compliance with legal codes and must provide a Certificate of Compliance (COC).

Return Requirements: Submit the following when booking a return:

  • Completed RMA documents;

  • Photos showing surge protection;

  • COC;

  • Line diagrams.

Incorrect Installation & Testing:

  • No refunds/replacements for damage from misuse or incorrect installation.

  • 15% handling fee applies.

  • Storage fee charged if rejected goods aren’t collected within one month.

  • Reinstallation or repair from buyer error will be re-quoted.

Non-Defective Returns:

  • Notify us within 10 business days ([email protected]).

  • Return goods within 10 business days at your cost.

  • Must be in original packaging.

  • If approved after inspection, a refund or credit will be processed.


Warranty & Call-Out Policy

  • Post-installation call-out fee: ±R500 for travel.

  • Accessories (e.g., cables, breakers) are not covered by warranty; replacements billed to client.

  • Battery & inverter: 10-year warranty for free repair/replacement.

  • Solar panels: 21-year performance warranty.

  • Warranties start from installation date and follow manufacturer terms.
